Classic Barrel Aged Balsamic Vinegar

$18.00
$18.00

A blend of vinegars aged 12-18 years using the classic Solera method. Use as a base for salad dressing or put a Classic spin on your favorite marinade.

True balsamic vinegar is made from a reduction of pressed Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes. The resulting thick syrup, called mosto cotto in Italian, is subsequently aged for a minimum of 12 years in a battery of seven barrels of successively smaller sizes. The casks are made of different woods like chestnut, acacia, cherry, oak, mulberry, ash, and, in the past, juniper. True balsamic vinegar is rich, glossy, deep brown in color and has a complex flavor that balances the natural sweet and sour elements of the cooked grape juice with hints of wood from the casks.

best balsamic vinegar

We first tasted this on a trip to Seattle years ago and ever since I have to order it when I run out. I have tried other brands from the market and none can compare with OMG.

Best ever!! And Gluten Free!!

I have celiac disease so I have a severe gluten allergy. This balsamic vinegar is the best I have ever tasted. I put it on everything!! I just orders another case of 6!

Once you try the best.

I can only say after trying your Balsamic, it reminds me of when I spent time in Germany for a couple of weeks and was able to tour the country and sample a dozen different German beers. They don't make 50 different types like the micro's in this country, they make a few using only the finest ingredients. After coming home I really never drink beer here anymore. Well having your vinegar has done the same thing, you have basically stopped me from enjoying any other brand.

Best Balsamic Vinegar

OMG! Is absolutely the best balsamic we have ever had, and it is the same quality every time. We’ve been using it for many years and will not even consider another brand. A light drizzle on roasted veggies, Caprese on baguette or just dipping bread. The best!

Best balsamic, period, mic drop

We've been using the Classic Balsamic Vinegar for years now, we've tried others and always come back to OMG! because there is nothing else that even comes close.
